Description
I can no longer draw myself I have discovered
no matter the style it will never resemble me no matter how hard I try
from the eyes up is nothing
This originally was going to be a self portrait
but much to my regret I was not able to do so
This still could possibly be me though
While coloring I realized this resembled some of Deino's work, characters with nothing from the eyes up I mean.
So all the time drawing this I was singing bacterial infection

Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactI was drawn to this work because it is so visually arresting! The tilt of the neck, the unnaturally curved smile, and the unusually shaped line cutting off the top of the face are so mesmerizing.
That said, there are still a few things you could work on with this. I don't know if you are aware, but when this picture is viewed in full-view, there is a pixelated edge around the whole figure. It is very jarring and distracts from the mysterious quality of the image.
The cut-off edge of the face, too, cannot seem to decide whether to fade out, which I think would be the more visually pleasing and dramatic choice, or to just stop sharply and abruptly. It detracts from the drama of the picture, as do the highlights on the shoulders, which seem to just sit there rather than mesh with the rest of the skin tone, which is blended beautifully. This is a good picture, and with just a little tweaking, it could easily be a great one.
